The book is a memoir of unusual stories unfolding in Glen Emery’s bars in Prague during the 90s. Adrian from the Tiger Lillies describes that time as one where “Anything could happen and, indeed happened during this period, while the surreal quality of life there was something that deeply affected people. Glenn collected the best anecdotes about the outcasts, the crooks, the brave and the just plain unlucky, providing laughter at the absurd happenings of a golden age of freedom”.

The cover design features a scene from the book. The style is inspired by the wild punk vibes of the Czech capital during the 90s, with references to the zine aesthetics of the same period: dirty, dynamic, anarchic and surreal with a splash of purple.
